I've done a lot of writing over the years, though not much has been shared to the public. That's what this blog is going to be for. I have a few short stories from the past that I will be tweaking and sharing here. There are characters that I liked so much I decided to incorporate them into my universe, in general.
The name of my universe is 'Hugoverse', because I can do that. My first book, Aurelio's Sun, will introduce the main universe. Some of the characters from short stories on this page will eventually appear in stories with Soundcrowd. The "important" characters of my universe are mostly based on Lotería cards for different reasons, but they're all special in a way. To start with here's the first character. His name is Vegas.
Vegas is the first character I created that felt special to me. I came up with him for a creative writing assignment. I don't remember the specifics, but I'm pretty sure it was something along the lines of, "Imagine a character named Vegas. What are they like?" He is the first character I wrote that I truly wanted to do more with. You can read his first appearance here. This is how he starts bungling into his true calling.

(10-13-17) - Free Dinner
This is another story I wrote for a prompt given to me in a creative writing class. I don't remember the specifics, but it was something along the lines of "Someone wakes up and calls in sick to work. Why?" Some minor updates and tweaks, but nothing major. Starring El Diablito.
To actually practice my writing I'll be doing r/writingprompts daily (m-f) on reddit.
I'll also collect them here: HERE also HERE for something different.
